  1. Idk what philly was thinking about hagg is really underrated and they could’ve got sillinger mctavish or lambos at 13

  2. And now the Rangers trade Buchnevich to the Blues for a mediocre player and a 2nd? Does that mean Eichel is going to the NYR?

  3. It’s not that bad at all. Myers. Hagg and Ghost for Ellis and Rasmus? Sure you gave up some pics but it’s not like the flyers are looking for a 18 year old. Their looking for now; not later. Hope it works out for both sides tho.

  4. Still got faith in Risto, surround him in a better environment and let him get that confidence back. His hattrick vs. Calgary always stands out to me

  5. Mark my words! Fletcher has something up his sleeve! Remember that have alot of prospects and not just bottom of the barrel! Frost, Foerester Allison, etc… There is something coming!

  6. So a team that wants to push for a cup traded picks, not only picks but the one first rd pick is in one of the worst drafts in like 10 years? Yea no not that big of a deal, flyers are a better team now because of it. And the top 4 defence are Ellis, provorov, Sanheim and risto. That’s some good stuff right there.

  7. don't get me wrong, I like Hagg but he is very slow and has limited ability. at best the 14th pick is two or three years away and comes with huge risk in terms of whether or not you are getting a good player. Ristolained is only 26, just when D-men start to hit their prime. Don't judge him based on his Buffalo stats. This will prove to be an absolute steal for the Flyers who don't have the luxury of waiting for an 18 year old kid.

  8. With the prospect pool that we as in Philadelphia flyers have and the players we have coming up in the program I feel more secure in giving up some picks for some solid talent one thing that Philadelphia has been doing a lot of in the past few years is trading all of their quote unquote heavy hitters so adding rasmus in my opinion is a great thing to do he might not be the best player but he can add presents to Philadelphia has been missing after getting rid of gudas Simmons schenn I also feel like we absolutely needed someone to fill the role of Matt niskinen and I think Ryan Ellis can be that person

  9. I'm hoping this is the start of the turn around Buffalo needs. I'm cheering for you guys

  10. The way I see it Fletcher just put the Flyers core on notice. G and Coots each have 1 year left, JVR has 2, and Vorachek has 3. This trade for 1 year of Ristolainen is giving them ONE chance to prove they can win. If the Flyers are in playoff position come the Trade deadline… Perfect. If not Couturier, JVR, Braun and Ristolainen are going to pull in some amazing assets in a deep draft. The Flyers have Provorov, TK, Farabee, Allison and Hart under either cost or contract control for the next 4 years atleast. With Wisdom and Foerestor expected to get AHL exceptions this season, those players will be up playing with the Flyers sooner than expected.

  11. I think it's a solid move for Philly. I know Risto hasn't been an analytics darling. But he's capable of playing a lot. Which is an upgrade from Ghost who wasn't playing. And frankly no ones any sort of statistical darling playing in Buffalo. He's bound to improve. Size, and strength. Decent shot. And you got Buffalo to take and over priced 7-8 dman for you. Philly was in the playoff mix this past year playing in the best devision in hockey. In a normal division with a couple moves that I think leave you with a net improvement on D. I think they aught be in the playoff mix again. Did those two deals cost you a lot of picks to make happen. Sure did. Does it make sense for Philly to be in "Win now mode" I don't think so but they seem too. So I'm rooting for them. It's a ballsy move. But I think it's entirely possible that it could pay off for them.

  12. RD has been a weakness of Philly for a long time. They have solved that and haven’t lost much. Their window is now, I’d say these are good trades. Perhaps they should have tried for Hamilton sure, but chances are they tried and failed.

  13. defensive partners for this year for Ristolainen were: Bryson then Samuelsson – what are the experience levels of his partners on top line Defense for Sabers?

  14. I called you out in your last video about risto. I stated you were severely underrating him. You guys focus way to much on +/-. Yes his +/- is bad but the sabres have been the worst scoring team for like 5 years straight and their goalies couldn't stop a beach ball. Everyone has a bad +/- on the sabres. Philly just picked up a solid 2-3-4 dman who canog 30 minutes a game. With a stronger team around him he will flourish and turn his career around.

  15. I suspect Rasmus turns it around in Philly. Different market, closer to contending than Buffalo. We like big and mean and have lacked it. We had nobody clearing the crease. He’s a needed asset. Good luck Hagg!

  16. Risto is such a divisive guy he has heart plays 100% all the time is a mean sob and can score. downside bad numbers in +- etc. It's a real gamble.

  17. I agree that the Flyers moves are puzzling, but Philly got a pretty good defenseman. Risto had a good year last year. You’re just reading stats, not watching Risto play.

  18. None of this does anything because they still need a substantial improvement in a backup goalie(where they gonna find that?), resign Hart and Sanheim and Couts(substantial raise next year), and G. Voracek's now requested a trade(unhappy player in the room is no good) but, nobody's gonna take his contract without giving up significantly more assets. This team is a mess right now. Fletcher is just Holmgren/Clarke 3.0. Throw money and draft picks to get rid of problems. Didn't work for them, won't work for Chuck either.

  19. Risto is a beast- also clutch- would be difficult to play against in the playoffs- Go Sabes

  20. Fletcher is not a good GM. Woefully overpays in every deal and gets fleeced. For every good deal he makes (Ellis), he follows it up with 3 questionable ones. Team was better off with Hexy. Brass just couldn't be patient enough with his build youth from within approach. They couldn't even wait another season to bring up Hart.

That said, this years draft wasn't that deep as years past. Risto will be better in Philly. The likes of Provorov + Ellis, will help and having Hart behind you instantly improves things esp compared to Buffalo. Risto will play more minutes in Philly as well I believe, but won't be leaned on as heavy as Buffalo did in the past. His veteran leadership should help the team as well. Curious what we would have had to give up for Ekman-Larsson, but the D will be looking better regardless.

  21. dude the flyers are making biggggg trades rn, just got cam atkinson for jakub voracek and ryan ellis, but as a redwings fan, im so happy that we got nedelijkovic and leddy, insane canucks got oel and garland, insane that seth jones went to the hawks

  22. I think they made the deal with Philly to keep him out of Montreal, because players like that can really come back to haunt the teams that trade them.

  23. Tell me you don’t know anything about hockey, without telling me you don’t know anything about hockey… but hey you keep on keeping on with that stat reading 😂

  24. Bringing up point production and Haag is laughable. Dude hits everything that moves, cleanly, like a hammer and plays an important shutdown defensive role. Blocks shots like a madman and is annoying for opposing forwards to play against in front of the net and in corners.

Chuck Fletcher is going to botch the flyers just like he did the wild.

I can't think of an older management or higher personality that still thinks in terms of the pre-cap era.

  25. Lol rob Hagg sucks amd takes penalties at the worst times. And u all are focusing on his numbers, he fuckxxx played on Buffalo his whole career,. Where he was thrown into tge top roles and expected to do it all and obviously numbers suck cause hes on a team tgat cant win and barley score. Hes going to Philly where he wont be under pressure, he can actually jyst play his game and for tge first time inhis career have some structure and good players around him. You seem to have forgotten hes 2nd i believe in hits in tge league too. Plus the minutes he can play, u dont get that from Hagg or Ghost. Truly it was 1st rounder 2nd and Hagg, Hagg us a bum so thst means nothing to Philly fans and tgeres a good chance Fletcher recoups thst 2nd rounder since irs not till 22 or 23 i forget now. Stop including Gjist as part of the trade cause its not!!! Think bigger picture people not just plus minus
