The St. Louis Blues acquired Kevin Hayes from the Philadelphia Flyers for a 2024 6th Round Draft Pick. Is he enough to get this team back to the playoffs in 2024?
Honestly solid solid move for the blues. Gets you another solid piece for the forward core and someone that can contribute for a few seasons as well if it works out. I will say if you guys go after Dumba I might scream collusion here. Great vid
It canāt be said that Hayes has not been a friend of Chiclets on and off the podcast. Glad to hear about him in a Blues jersey now on The Rhythm! Flyers fans are in shambles over this, but we fleeced Philly for the most part as far as news over there.
Blues cannot be big spenders in free agency this off season. They only have about 2.4 million to spend this off season in signing free agents. The only way they can be big spenders in free agency is via trade.

There will not be a center in free agency that will be as good of value as Hayes at 3.5 mil for 3 years. Not one. Thin market.
If the Blues decide to go for Keller this offseason which defenseman gets traded?

If there's one certainty every year.. It's that Army is going to find someway to absolutely fleece Philly.
flyers were going to buy out hayes so im not so sure it was a fleecing .. we saved philly roughly 3-4 million
What an unbelievable trade once again by Dougie Fresh Armstrong. Bounce back season for the D. Letās Go Blues!!
