Absolutely, pay da man, he's your friggin' Captain, leader, at every post game interview and at the center of every scrum. This is not someone to do the nickel and dime dance around. How is this even an issue?
Can you do something about the room or audio settings on this channel. It sounds like they are yelling at base volume, and when they get actually animated and naturally louder it gets distorted and clips. You’re supposed to be a major player, get better equipment or mix the show better. The sound quality is simply horrible.

Wasn't there just a video a few weeks ago saying Yzerman was going to pay him and now you are saying he should?
Amazing the hot takes out there. "He's not worth the money" "He's a 2nd line center. Let him walk!" "Trade him!" Well he's got a no trade clause so that won't be easy. I agree he's not a McDavid or Matthews but you let him walk and Copp and Veleno are your top 2 centers next year….cool. I'm confident a deal will get done. If the reports are true that one side says 8mil and the other 9mil, 8.5 is the middle and what Horvat just got and Larkin has better PPG over his career and is a year younger. I can't imagine either side saying "I won't cave over $500k." Plus Elliotte Friedman made a great point. Yzerman isn't stupid. If he thought he couldn't get a deal done, he would have traded him last summer before Larkin's NTC kicked in. People on both sides of this argument need to relax.

I don't know if Larkin can really lead the Wings to a Cup. Larkin isn't really an elite player in my mind. Just compare these stats as of the time of this comment: McDavid leading the league with 101 points to Larkin's 56. I see Larkin as more of an assistant captain on a Cup-winning team than a Captain.
