The NHL’s free agency period has opened up, and while the Edmonton Oilers weren’t too busy they managed to grab themselves a big piece to the puzzle.
On day one of free agency, Oilers general manager Ken Holland signed former Toronto Maple Leaf and Ottawa Senators forward Connor Brown for a very cheap cap hit. However, there are a couple of extra lays to his contract which Tyler Yaremchuk and Liam Horrobin will talk about in this episode of Oilersnation Everyday.

Get Dennis King (I think his name was). I miss him from the Lowedown.
I’ve missed the conversation about what it would take to dump Campbell this year. Simply not possible? The goaltending and D have to be solid to win a cup and I don’t think you want to wait another year if at all possible
If you do dump any of Ceci, Foegel or Campbell, in my opinion, you still sign Bouch to a bridge and you use that money on tending and D.

Devils giving me a vibe like Ottawa did last off season. Granted the devils have done a much better job, but Ottawa loaded up in free agency last off season and gave us reason to think they’d be better than they were. I hope the devils are for real
