First of all Coach , it's hard to hear your over the music in the background, secondly, whether or not keeping Slavkovsky with the team isn't my call to make , or anyone else's, I'm not the gm , were only opinionated fans acting like we are professionals, it's getting ridiculous , let management do their jobs and stop second guessing every move they make , were fans, that's it that's all
Slaf > Laval
I 100% trust HABS management in all their decisions regarding Slaf and everyone/everything else.
hard to assess as he got hurt too early n did not have time to develop or get used to NHL style or rink size…..he should have been in AHL but now needs to be in NHL…Laval will not help him now as I feel with the youth he needs to play more minutes and move up in the lines as he progresses and eventually be on the 1st line
Slaf's first year was an adjustment to the smaller rink and the speed of the NHL witch is normal for him to get use to and the Habs are a young team and Slaf fits with them, he has the tools to succeed and the right coach in MSL so relax and let him play and learn on the fly with his teammates, for a guy living on his own since an early age he has the maturity and the mental toughness to succeed so yes the Habs made the right choice and next season he will improve for sure imo, 15 to 20 goals next season for him.
Music is a tad too loud coach 😮
Keeping him was totally unnecessary. Montreal has a recent history of starting their prospects too early. Play them in Laval and rate their progress from there.
18 goals, 32 assists in 23-24
Ice Time In Game Situations Helps With Player Development. Ask yourself, is he given the chance and why not. You can't be in the middle, thats not fair to the player. Slaf is bitting his tongue I'm sure, but that's what pros do. When the contract is up, do we expect loyalty in return? It's about how we treat people, we will see.
JURAJ SLAFKOVSKY was only 18-years-old last season, he should have spent the season in the AHL.
It is to easy now to say he should of been in laval , now we know that he learned to keep his head up and should start in Montreal to evaluate his summer healing and training .
Not sure Coach…if they don’t play him in Montreal, it makes choosing him over Wright even more suspect. I think Wright was devastated by not being picked first and lost confidence…this year could be very interesting in the Slaf-Wright saga.
