It’s a point. I’m a Liverpool fan saying this. Having to look over your shoulder as a midfielder compared to having the goal behind your back as a defender are two different things. Even at Liverpool, in our most difficult games come the end of the season, (Arsenal and Villa) the Trent in midfield stuff didn’t work. It only worked against the smaller teams. They might improve on the system, but his points valid

He is a midfielder through and through. He played in the midfield for his entire life until he was put at right back on the first team. That is where he’ll shine
Trent played right wing for most of his youth. The decision to play at right back was made as it was an easier path into the first team at the time. He's not a dam RB. He is a midfielder and in a few years this take won't age well.
