Let me know your thoughts the suspensions from Player Safety
This suspension is a good thing for both players
NHL player safety is a JOKE. Nurse suspended a game for answering the bell late, Pietro gets 1 for a slash that 6 times out of 10 leaves the Conn Smythe favourite with a broken wrist. Absolute trash.
I disagree with the suspension for Nurse. It's hardly an instigator, if Mark Stone said so himself that Hague asked for the fight.
Secondly, considering the severity of the slash, full on lumberjack, I feel that more than one game is warranted, seriously, one game?! Wtf?!?!

The Hockey Guy made a case for eliminating the instigator rule, and I would agree. It doesn't really make much sense, especially in the playoffs.
I got question for you would you do it. If Toronto goes out. Trade Auston, Mathews, and Mitch Marner for Connor Bedard. They will save a lot of money on cap and buy more players.
nhl is for the US market hence less Canadian team in the final the better that is why the suspension is what it is. Canadian team will never win the Cup as long as Bettman is the commis. Hence the suspension is what it is. Do not want the US media to blame the Golden Knights lose of the series to the suspension. Rather have Vegas advance than Edmonton.
Nurse gets a game for instigating. In other news Sam Bennet has got nothing for: cross check to the back of Buntingโs neck, then cross check to the middle of his back when he is down.

So when the rules say, nurse should have been suspended, but you disagree and think that he should not have been suspended???

how does pietrangelo get away with only 1 game out, especially in comparison to michael bunting? maybe the department of player safety needs to be reviewed;
IMHO, they both deserved their suspensions, especially Pietrangelo, who attacked LD when the puck was nowhere near them.
Oilers have been trying to re-injure Stone's back the whole series. I'm not surprised at the retaliation.
