His team didn’t get to play in the state high school hockey tournament this weekend, but Benilde-St. Margaret’s senior Grant Besse of Plymouth did receive a good consolation prize: he was named Mr. Hockey.
Besse scored 48 goals for the Red Knights this season, and of course is best known for scoring all five of BSM’s goals in a state championship win over Hill-Murray last March.
Besse will play for the University of Wisconsin next season.
