Ezekiel Elliott free agency workout is not going well. Look slow and did not have quick feet. Lacked his normal burst as seen during the feed Zeke years. Dak Prescott and the Dallas Cowboys have moved on. It is what it is.

    What’s the last Super Bowl winner with an elite RB? It’s just not an important position anymore. Kansas City just won a championship with a seventh round flyer of a RB as their primary ball carrier. Yes, Mahomes makes KC something of an outlier, but the Rams and Bucs and Chiefs of 2019 all proved you just need a competent guy to get a first down here or there, you don’t need a dominant RB. There’s a reason the Titans have t won anything, and it’s because they’re playing as though this is the 1980s.

    RBs in general need to stop dancing around in the back field. One thing I admire about the 49ers is that they teach backs to hit the hole and go. This is what happened to LeVeon Bell after he left Pittsburgh

    If he lost 10-15lbs he wouldn’t make it through a NFL season. Lateral drills aren’t meant to always improve lateral quickness. The athlete has to be as complete as possible because sports isn’t played in a straight line outside of track and field.

    His college track workouts ceased once he entered the NFL. If he would have incorporated those workouts he would have maintained that burst and his ability to hurdle longer.
