I think Dallas has a bit of over-reliance on Oettinger in net. If he gets hurt, Dallas is in a little bit of trouble.
Hit the nail on the head, there is nothing but optimism here in Dallas, yes people will have issues, big one being Suter, but all in all I feel there just isn’t much to complain about.
Maybe if their Captain doesn't lose his temper and take a bone head penalty, and also plays the finals like a Captain who's trying to lead the team….. maybe. Fun team to watch.

Dallas may very well be considered a Cup favorite this year, although I bet Peter Deboer somehow finds a way to hold this team back in the playoffs like he's always done with previous contenders
I love Dallas, they were my pick to win the cup this past year and think they would have beaten Florida had they advanced. I would say I think they could use a little improvement on the blue line. I think they have a lot of forward depth. Maybe a hockey trade like marchment, since his contract and skill make him a good trade asset, for a guy like Calen Addison could work. Or they can move somebody and perhaps make cap space for dumba
Glendening winning faceoffs and playing on penalty kill will be hard to replace, as well as needing to find a replacement for Kiviranta on the penalty kill. Both weren't much of an offensive threat. The Stars had a very "charmed" year as far as injuries last year and it's unlikely that Benn can score as many points again. The young guys seem to have better offensive potential, but not much size. Should be an interesting year.
With PDB at the helm, get ready for another playoff choke.

That Black jersey looks pretty good, but I think Dallas looks best in green. Have they given up gold as their third color? That silver looks nice on the jersey that Shannon is wearing. I think a silver jersey with black and green trim would be EXCELLENT.
