ABOUT ROY ELGHANAYAN’S 4TH DEGREE BLACK BELT TEST
In this test Roy had to demonstrate his knowledge and expertise in Krav Maga, Self Defense, Mixed Martial Arts, Judo, Japanese Jiu-Jitsu, Israeli Ju-Jitsu and Fighting. He was tested by Master Mati Elyashiv, 9th Degree Black Belt from Israel. The test was a total of 3 hours long with a surprise element of demonstrating survival skills against multiple attackers while blindfolded.
THE PROCESS OF THE TEST
1. Weapon Defense and Offense Demonstration.
2. Hand-To-Hand Combat: Self defense using Krav Maga, Judo and Jiu-Jitsu techniques.
3. Multiple Attackers Defense/Offense.
4. Surprise element: Multiple Attackers Blindfolded!
5. 65 rounds of sparring – fighting (each round is with a fresh fighter).

Very good footwork and excellent fast throws. Awesome speed with grab and lever techniques.
All the people here who just assume that this guy never does any sparring forget that many self defense situations begin with a grab/hold or simple push as a first aggression (or second after verbal one).
I‘m pretty sure this dude wouldn’t look that bad in a sparring round, though this might not be his preferred kind of training.
There‘s absolutely no reason at all to judge or hate this guy.

The clips with guns are bull shit, like the Detroit defense guy but on steriods. The threat doesn't even have his thumb over the grip. I'd like to see this attempted with paintball gun replicas so that the bad guy can actually pull the trigger. I bet Roy would catch a few rounds to the back and head.

At which point does disarming someone to defend yourself (like he is showing) land YOU in jail . . . ?
Full of discripted demomstration, its very easy to do while the opponent is instructed for what to do. What the important is sparring.. anyway it is also important if the opponent is know nothing in martial arts.

Wow. Krav Maga seems very useful when your opponent doesn't strike back and attack you one by one. As a choreography, it is nice and beautiful
This guy is DANGEROUS damn that's bad ass
Movements were clean and crisp. He showed excellent control in his execution. And if he really sparred for 65 minutes then he has nothing but respect from me. The only critic I can think of is the weapon defense was to long/exaggerated. When it comes to weapons, short and effective is best. Good video.
