  1. Caufield probably felt like he had to establish himself. Especially do to contract renewals. It is worrisome tho. But happy that Cole could put up this many goals with a bad shoulder.

  2. Given the team in front of him this year, Monty's play of late has been a very positive plus for us this year. Nice to see. Great channel by the way. Very well produced, factual and I always go away with much more info than I had coming in. Keep it going. Cheers! GHG

  3. Love the Lane Hutson update. Let him develop nicely. Stay in Juniors until 20. Keep him away from injury.

  4. Has there been X-rays and mri’s etc done during this time ? If so than the medical staff should be held accountable for his shoulder. If he just played through the pain till now with some minor rehab than it’s on him.

  5. I bet you $100.00 that Cole was told a million times growing up that he was too small for hockey and wouldn't succeed in the NHL. These fans may be right, for a change. But personally I think that this scoring machine would have notched 45-49 goals during the 2022/23. I mean, who doesn't enjoy watching Cole's skills whenever the Montreal Canadiens play?

  6. I think Montembeault has the potential to rival Price's records but only time will tell.

  7. I was hoping to see Cole score 50 this year! Rest up Cole, you are exciting to watch, and next year you can light up the goalies again!

  8. Looking at the Tanner Pearson situation in Vancouver along side this where they keep saying "following the guidelines set by the league", I can't help but feel that this may be a league wide issue

  9. I am quite concerned about Caufield's injury. Like knees, shoulders do not go back into being its best.

The only thing is to improve as much as possible with physio rehab and concentrate on shoulder exercises every day from the start of physio – even well after career. Otherwise, it will be a lifetime issue.

  10. What do you think about Jakub Dobes being nominated for the hobey baker too? Never hear anyone talk about him as a future goalie for us.

  11. This was probably a partial tear of the supraspinatus. A small tear won’t be too problematic playwise and won’t get worse by playing. You only need physical therapy. When the tear is borderline surgical, that’s when the decision of surgery vs playing through the pain is the players choice. It will hurt, physical therapy will help you keep your strenght, but it wont go away. Some movements will always hurt, but you are functional. Surgery will probably help but its a 6 months recovery. This is probably why he played the beginning of the season and chose to have surgery at this moment to be ready for next year.

  12. Lane Hutson, from research/updates…5'10", 155-159 lbs…up from last summer's 5'8" 148 lbs. Caufield is about +10 pounds now, Kidney and Hutson should thicken up too, maybe Hutson's growth spurt isn't done yet also. Monty's game by game save % has been impressive…playing every game lately at that. Interesting content btw, cool.

  13. Not saying he’s the second coming or whatever, but people definitely been sleeping on Monty
