As a 30+ years boxer myself, I can vouch for the fact Briggs is in the wrong here. I have done full contact karate, boxing, nin-jitsu, judo…….and a GOOD mma fighter wil 9 out of 10 times win. A boxer does not know how to handle all the chokeholds.
Briggs is just being a promoter for the cameras. Rampage would just rush him take him down and beat the crap outta him. Or just body lock, take down and more of before. Rampage might do a quick 2-5 punch combo at first for the knockout, but quickly would transition to MMA, and lock him up/take him down. Briggs only shot in a street fight is a knockout standing and I don't think Jackson would trade with him. Duck head/Philly Shell, then MMA him. Briggs is building the hype using the size optics when they meet. Rampage would stomp him in the streets, no doubt.
