  1. I think Hughes should still be second, even if svech could consistently put up 40+ goals, Hughes is just insane. The way he controls the game, the amount of time he holds the puck, and the points he puts up is insane. I honestly wouldn’t be suprised if Hughes was able to put up 90+ points one day

  2. Alright i may be a bit biased but Quinin Hughes is better then Andrei svechnikov, first quinin Hughes has only been in the for a season, not like Andrei Svehnikov who is now playing his second season. and Quinin Hughes is only a point behind Svehnikov. Second Quinin Hughes is a plays defense, it is well known that defense get less points then forwards. If i had a redraft Quinin Hughes would go second overall maybe even first.

  3. I love Kk, but I wouldn’t be mad if Montreal made the Pacioretty trade before the draft and picked Hughes

  4. One month away to the NHL draft.
If Detroit ends up floundering on their first selection, it may as well happen now as it will not hurt as much, as they already got jobbed at the lottery kicked out of the top 3 in an agonizing night in July.

  5. Everyone calls teams dumb for not taking Hughes. Don’t act like u guys had him as a top 3 pick back then lmao

  6. Yeah Hughes would have been top 3 for sure but I think he would go 2nd. Keke it’s clear since the playoffs that he would go before Zadina. He has that rare combination of talent and strength that is very hard to get in a trade.

  7. My top 5 is:
    1.Quinn Hughes
    2.Andrei Svechnikov
    3.Rasmus Dahlin
    4.Brady Thachuk
    5.jesperi kotkaniemi
    The starts a bit controversial

  8. i wonder who Benning would have selected if Hughes was gone. Benning seemed to be
really shocked / surprised that Hughes was still there by the Canucks were up. i am glad
that Hughes fell to the Canucks in the draft, his performance so far has been amazing.

  9. Can you re draft the 2017 nhl draft? Would love to see where you would have nick Suzuki going

  10. If I am the Hawks in this situation, I am still going with Boqvist.

  11. Man I can't wait to see what Zadina will do this upcoming year. He could easily get 25 goals 50 points in a full season

  12. As a habs fan I would rather tkachuk. Guy is a beast at all ends of the ice and something we lack just as much as defense is size up front

  13. Zadina had so many lucky goals this past season (going off of defenders constantly and taking weird bounces). His stats look better than he actually played

  14. Tkachuk was worse in his rookie season he played w stone and duchene this year he was Ottawa’s best forward (after pageau left) I think he should hit 70 points pretty soon

  15. Still think Zadina won’t be quite as good as many expect. Still a top 6 player but maybe not the superstar. I would want a Farabee ahead of Kotka and Zadina right now. Farabee still sooo underrated it seems. Wouldnt touch Eichel now until his neck issue is fixed by surgery or whatever. If I’m an nhl GM, I’m not paying close to what the Sabres would want until that situation is cleared up and Eichel can prove he’s healthy, stable and carrying the team. Plus, Aho is a clear winner with drive and yet ability to thrust his team forward. Right now Aho > Eichel all day. Eichel has some work to do.
