OK Guys, it’s time to take a look at some Habs news that just came to light today. The Montreal Canadiens are preparing to play San Jose, and at practice on the road today, Joel Edmundson and Kaiden Ghule were not only paired together, but they were also wearing full contact jerseys, meaning that their return could be as soon as tomorrow. Darren Dreger also reported today that the Edmonton Oilers are still interested in Joel Edmundson.. I’ll talk about these topics in today’s video, along with the new lines today! As Denis Gurianov started his first practice on the top line alongside Nick Suzuki!

Wouldn’t be surprised if we get a 1st from EDM for Edmunson. Especially if he returns and play wells. I hope Guhle comes back tomorrow, he’s been great this season.

After some of the trades we've seen these last 2 games, I thought maybe Hoffman can fetch the Habs something. But one guy I always forget is Dvorak. He's had 4, +15 goal seasons playing in Arizona. That's pretty consistent. He's one of few players in Montreal to not have injury issues, He's 6'1", he averages 52% in the faceoff circle which isn't bad, he's 27 and he doesn't complain. The man has only played on crappy teams in his career and has found a way to put up points. He's also got a few more seasons at $4.45M which isn't breaking the bank. So he's not just a rental. IMO he's got some value. Maybe both these guys can make it onto another team looking for depth now for some guys the Habs can use down the line when their core has more experience…

So far it has only been the top Eastern conference teams buying from the bottom Western conference teams. Won’t be long until teams like Colorado, LA, Edmonton, Vegas, Seattle and Calgary start buying from the Eastern conference sellers.

I was just doing some thinking, uh oh! lol, check this out, just going back to 2105, we COULD have drafted these players, instead of the ones we did draft, these are all players that were still available at the time of our picks!! We took Noah Juulsen at 26th in the first round, we could have went a little lower, and got a player named…Sebastien Aho, he went in the 2nd round 35th overall, then 2016- 9th overall is Mikhail Sergachev we could have kept him, OR went with Tage Thompson who went in the 1st round at 26th overall. 2017 we drafted Ryan Poehling in the 1st round at 25th, we could have went with Jason Robertson, he went in the 2nd round 39th. 2018 we picked Kotkaniemi, and we all know who we SHOULD have taken there, Brady Tkachuk who went the very next pick, of course to Ottawa. 2019 we nailed it with Cole Caufield, 2020- Kaiden Guhle was a good pick, so far! The rest are too new to really tell. Imagine tho, what a team we could have, and that's not going back that far! Too bad we couldn't give Habs brass a sports almanac!!! lol. I hate to say it, but we gotta start losing more, like a lot more. Hopefully we will get rid of anyone who can put the puck in the net by Friday anyway, except Suzuki, maybe Anderson, MAYBE Monahan, i hope they dont just take whatever they can get for him, keep him if the deal isn't there.

If we can get a first for Edmundson that will make the Monahan Injury kinda okay it won’t hurt so much it would have been nice to have 4!! Lol but if we get 3 and we got Gurianov then this trade deadline will be a great success it kind of already is it has gotten off to a way better start then I thought
