  1. You hit the nail on the head about Caufield and we will see what Lane Hutson brings in the future !!!

  2. At the time our team was a bunch of tired old boys and a few younger hole fillers that had a hard time with coach changes and the only thing holding them up was themselves

  3. Sorry for the complainers that cannot see the team we will have in two years , more so they cannot see that our pics are a great advantage for the team , most of those people have not seen our pics play nor their potential , no they go for the popular without thaking in consideration their numbers and worth but more so their character , Michkov aint a gift to the hockey gods , he is just a one way player that thinks himself perfect . Those fans should wait and see because our pics before never became more than ok players , they should trust those who have way more info than they have , popularity is not a sign of greatness .

  4. Coach great video, Hutson has the potential to be a superstar imo and Caufield has the swag of a superstar and he can definitely put the puck in the net, Hoffman and Dvorak are next to depart in the near future to make room for the players nocking at the door like Heinneman, Beck and don't forget the addition of Newhook.😊

  5. nice to see Andersson is thrilled to come to Montreal and get a 2nd chance…with MSL you know he will get a fair shake..wow only 7 players left from then….CC is definitely a superstar and will be for years to come. Hoffman and Dvorak both have to go to allow the prospects more playing time

  6. Caufield has been scoring left and right under MSL. I was concerned when he's production dropped under Ducharme. Habs dont need Michkov when you have Caufield already

  7. Caufield is too small, he isn't gonna stay healthy long enough to ever become a "super star". I wish i was wrong about this, but we will see how many 82 game seasons he has in about 6 or 7 years. I know lots will disagree, but it's how it is, unfortunately. We STINK on offense, but taking reinbacher, with his 3 goals last year will put us right in the Stanley cup mix, right? HABS NEED OFFENSE. U cna lie to yourself all u want. If u cant score goals, u cant win games. Plus our goaltending isn't great either. But management seems to think the defense is going to save the day. Like Habs management has thought for the last 40 years. When D did win us a cup, it wasn't actually D, it was goaltending. That's how we won the last 2 cups, without Roy, u could kiss those cups goodbye, and when we made it to the finals last time, was Carey Price, not our offense, or the D, it was all goaltending. Im tired of listening to people say we have a decent team, we dont. We NEED people to put the puck in the net. Other than Caufield, and Suzuki's 25 goals. (at least we will have two 20 goal scorers, IF Caufield stays healthy! IF…. If not we will have one 20 goal guy, AGAIN… HABS NEED SCORING…

  8. I agree with the Hoffman and Dvorak trade ideas. In fact, if it makes financial sense, keep part of the salaries for both to make it a more attractive trade proposition. The CH needs to open spots to test new forward prospects.

  9. First Cole is a superstar and what happens if they can't trade any players who do you think sits

  10. Coach. you forgot to add Gallagher who was with the team and picked up assists. That makes 8

  11. Hughes definitely has to make space for the young prospects up front and Hoffman/Dvorak/Armia are contracts that require shedding. However, I don't see Nashville wanting Hoffman. They just got rid of some of their own heavy contracts in an attempt to go younger and start reshelving their cupboard with draft picks. I see the NYI, Calgary, or even Seattle being more likely destinations. Dvorak is probably the easiest contract to move and he offers any contending buyer depth, a 2-way game and faceoff prowess. Hence a greater return for Montreal. Great video as usual coach.

  12. Caulfield definitely is a star but only longevity and improvement in his defensive game will determine if he will be a superstar (elite?) player. He has yet to play an entire season so it's too early to speculate either way.
