  1. 'Against All Odds' is a great read about the '76 season. Totally authentic and typically 'just James'. Great interview.

  2. If I was Zak Brown, I'd let Freddie do a showrun of his dad's 1976 Mclaren at Silverstone since Freddie is a decent driver and a showrun like that could raise Freddie's profile a bit…👀

  3. The fisical similarities with his dad AND how he describes driving his dad's car like he said "in anger" and him wanting to push even in a demo race really messes with my mind because i know he is not James, but you can "see" Hunt senior in him… does that make sense?

  4. I love the pod guys, such a belter of an episode. What a man Freddie is. Just like his Father, Humble and honest af.

  5. I'm not an avid F1 fan. This was fascinating. Great storyteller and a standup guy to boot.

  6. what a story from Freddie Hunt such a lovely bloke. Also you guys have grown so much

  7. Shame about his upbringing… nothing like his dads. Ironicly because of his dads wealth.. got a snobby voice. But seems a decent guy. Not got his dads talent but shit tonne more than me!!

  8. Being James Hunts son must be cooler then being Michael schumacher's son or Graham Hills son but has for how Chris Hemsworth portrayed James Hunt I would have thought Nikki Lauda was one of the best people to know him which is why he was consulted while making Rush.

  9. Even though Freddie hunt isn’t in F1 at all, he has his dad’s love of racing and competitive part as in any kind of sports

  10. The resemblance to his dad his just uncanny, what a top bloke by the sounds of it Freddie is too!

Iv absolutely no doubt that if he does start to get himself out there on social media and YouTube etc etc he will definitely get sponsors onboard faster than he realises!

  11. Son of a racing driver, assumed he be an arrogant tit, but enjoyed his stories. Seems a decent lad and hope he does well!

  12. If I didn’t know any better I’d of thought someone has just done a James Hunt deep fake. It’s incredible how close he looks to his dad.

  13. Hemsworth said the only driver he knows is Verstappen and he’s crazy about him … how tf do you play James Hunt but are oblivious to the likes of Hamilton or Alonso!

  14. Freddie are you still going to give Hemsworth a slap , I saw on the shorts
you were bleeding about his process , but you should have given him a spray at the time , not ten years later.

  15. Freddie was just a little kid when James died, him saying his dad was humble is complete bullshit. Everyone that has ever talked about James said the same thing, he was an arrogant and a cocky guy. The dude was sleeping around and living the life. I know he is biased towards his dad, its understandable, but people need to realize Hemsworth did an outstanding job, even Lauda commented on it and said it was spot on.

  16. I seriously cant believe that sponsors arent jumping all over him.
    Name? Check
    Talent? Check
    Charisma? Check
    Handsome? Check

  17. Sorry i cant take the words of someone who was a child at the time. James probably acted different around his children.

  18. Dude was 6 when dad died, for sure can't remember too much details about that time, let alone about the skills of his father.

  19. This is the first of your podcasts that I have watched and I love how you gus let the guest talk rather than push the conversation too hard. Loved the farm bit at the start. Man was passionate about his home and you let him share while being completed interest. Great job lads!
