Is he healthy now or is expected to be healthy at training camp? To me this seems like a risky signing. Am I wrong Coach?

If he is on pace, I see a 2024 1st round pick and possibly another good prospect by the deadline.
At 1.985M, This is a cheap bargain and very attractive contract for any contending team.

Great signing at that number Coach. It helps our depth, leadership and can trade him at the deadline if he plays well or set up for another short term deal next year if it makes sense again for both parties.
Terrific great news. Risk of injury will always be there but his attitude and effort are A-plus. Monahan's skill level including faceoffs is amazing. A true 'Ace'.. very happy to see this happen.
