  1. Big missed opportunity to sell high on a player that now has significantly less value after this bridge deal than he did yesterday.
Van could have got a 1st for Kuzmenko, if they trade Bo they could get another 1st. That’s three 1sts they could have had this year but instead a team going nowhere locks up a player for two meaningless years. This team makes no sense.

  2. With all the turmoil surrounding the team and the fact that they're once again a bottom feeder…. I thought he might wanna move on to another team. Good job for signing him to a decent bridge deal. He probably could've held out for more. Right now he's on the best value contract in the league, and even at the extension price he's a bargain. Good to see the franchise has players who wanna stay. They have a captain who wants out and I thought that other players might have the same idea. Thanks for staying Kuz, hopefully management and the coach can turn the team around and you can play some playoff hockey in the future

  3. I love how everyone gives Rutherford credit for the pens back to back cups, how about being able to draft Crosby malkin Letang and fleury wonder if that was due to making the playoff consistently or a bit of tanking for draft picks just frustrating follow the circus that is the Vancouver clowns just F@CKING REBUILD!

  4. Nice propaganda Milstein ….. Some of us know that was hot trash out your mouth today ….. 11 million $ his client signed today and he's having a good day. He doesn't give a fuck if we toil in pergatory another decade. He and his client got payed and that's all he cares about….. Be smarter guys c'mon

  5. Buy low sell high have vision = the best gm in the NHL

Do minor tweeks and double down to fix a decade of not competing for a cup = Retirement home Rutherford and Swedish assistant

  6. Absolutely no problem with Kuzmenko as a person or player, and I’m happy to have him, but it is a missed opportunity to get picks and prospects.

  7. Guy is my fav player on the team after like 48 games. Was hesitant to get his jersey, but now I can get it without hesitation

  8. Horvat is the one asset that they're likely to move who will get you good players in return. Preferably a top 4 RHD, 2nd choice 3C. 2023 1st would work too. Damn it Jim! Do it.

  9. Now, we need a Russian good free-agent defenseman from you Don Milstein!

  10. going to go against the grain here, but i think its a bad signing. The team is winger heavy. We're paying JT to do what Kuz is doing. Trade Kuz, and watch JT pick up the slack ,and invest that 5.5 in some quality D-man. Remember this team did not have issues last year or this year putting up the points. stop investing more into your forwards.

  11. Signing good players to good value deals is always..well..good. It's quite likely his value will go up over time if he plays next to Petey and continues to produce. Not trading him for a 2nd round pick or B prospect doesn't ruin this team. If people were offering first round picks or something then sure but the rumor was they were offered nothing near that.
