Who knows what's really going on behind the curtain but the latest I heard was that the hang up is that they have to come to an agreement that also allows LA to fit everything under their cap. It's one thing to offer up a bunch of decent prospects, but you're not really losing much salary doing that. Also heard Phx said HELL NO to taking Petersons contract off their hands. Again, who knows what's legit, but as an LA fan I would definitely want Vejmelka in the deal, and getting both Chychrun and Vejmelka might just pry Clarke from my hands. Ya gotta give to get… So maybe something like Chychrun AND Vejmelka for Clarke, Walker, Lemieux, Turcotte, Spence, Fagemo and a 1st.🤷♂ Again, not the easiest thing to shed salary without may options in the 2-4mil range.
IF they can't get Vejmelka done, I'm not so sure I go too hard after Chychrun as I don't think he justifies a #1 or Clarke etc. Phx's asking price has always been ridiculous on him, thus why he hasn't moved in a couple of years. Also Chychrun has some sort of a no-trade clause kicking in this summer, so Phx may be wise to move him sooner rather than later.
I find it funny that nobody seems to be thinking or talking 3 team trade. Like LA retaining salary then flipping him elsewhere. ?!?!?

So in other words YOU HAVE NOTHING! I PRAY THEY DON'T TRADE BYFIELD OR CLARKE! We have 2-3 cup runs in 5 years the difficulty is what about kopi quick doughty more so on Q & K maybe they will have to be happy with the 2 cups, Q is gonna be lights out in the playoffs so without Chykrun IT WILL BE ALL IN VAIN, CAUSE HE'S A PERFECT exact fit for us …GKG !
Yeah they sit his a** down because if he played he will probably get hurt and so they can't have that happening. 🤣 but no freakin way Kings trading Clarke or Byfield for an often injured chickren. lol.
