The 24-year-old was one of the best players on the Marlies this season and was also one of the intriguing players while he was up in the NHL with Toronto. He will be back on a two-year deal with an AAV of $800K. A steal for the Maple Leafs and Brad Treliving.

Holmberg signing is a W. Let Kerfoot walk, heās way too expensive for what he brings.
Are they going to play Holmberg on the wing, or at center? Yes. Remember the Leafs like to have a couple of centers per line. I could see him and Kampf on the 4th line, and each taking face offs depending on the situation.
I think that signing Holmberg was a MUST. He should have replaced Kampf overall. He is gonna be a stud.
Never looked out of place in the NHL. He really did look like he played close to mistakes free hockey.
He looks like Temmu Selanne.
Solid C/LW, decent size, really good skater, who is reliable on D (unlike Nylander) is physical & I believe in a full season, capable of 20-30 pts, or possibly more depending on linemates. No brainer signing for me. Interesting how Keefe would have him out when protecting a lead, late in the 3rd period.
