Things starting to really open up with Danielson winning with only 32% of the votes. These next few polls can go all sorts of ways so I’m excited to see what we end up with

  2. coltron57

Cossa for me. He and ASP are the last 1st rounders left, and I think a starting goalie holds more value than a 2RD. Wouldn’t be shocked to see this go the other way.

  3. reasonisvirtue

I had asp ahead of kasper and Danielson. The guy could hit

  4. Caltroit_Red_Flames

Not surprised but very funny to see Danielsen win the vote after people were pissed about the pick but over the moon at ASP’s pick.

  5. WillingnessWooden826

32% lol. Yeah this is getting real close now.

  6. Prudent_Shame_4531

I went for Mazur because 1) goalies are voodoo and 2) I’d like to see ASP get better on D. That being said, all strong choices here..

  7. Now is when it gets harder. IMO Mazur has shown enough to eclipse the first rounders that are still a ways out from making the show.

  8. SevenStringGod

Definitely in that range where Mazur, ASP, and Cossa could all fit, maybe even Soderblom too depending on what criteria you’re basing your voting on.

  9. LGRW_Sparty88

Wallinder winning awards in the SHL gives me really high hopes for him. We should have all our D play there to be around Kronwall and Lidstrom.

Lombardi again. He’s a guy who just has it, he’s gonna be great

The potential is sky high imo, and despite the uncertainty, he could be the most important offensive piece currently in the prospect pool if he pans out

  11. Forgetnk1

I think Wallinder has the best remaining combination of upside and readiness. No other prospect played as big a role as he did as a pro in one of the best leagues in the world. And he excelled in that role. 6’4 smooth skater, some flashes of offense and huge strides in defensive development and he still is 20 for a couple more weeks. I think he’s right there in the Kasper/Danielson tier, with the other prospects coming in a tier below.

The future is very bright when I have to think hard between Soderblom, Pellikka, Cossa, Mazur, and Lombardi, Wallinder, it goes on.

  13. Caboose119z

Between Cossa and ASP for this one. Leaning Cossa based on the number 1 goalie upside and strong finish last year. ASP I think tops out as a number 3D. Would love to be wrong on that one.

At this point, my vote goes to Johansson. My high valuation is based on Yzerman’s assessment of him. He’s mentioned Johnsson’s name on multiple occasions and I believe he would’ve been called up before Edvisdon had he not been hurt based on Yzerman’s positive comments about his last season on the griffins. Imagine him and Maata on a line together. Could be potentially an elite shutdown line.

  15. notsobold_boulderer

Soderblom has been my vote since #2 and I’m not changing it. Not sure what y’all are smoking

  16. Wingnut17

This based on soonest to make team or best career projection? These rankings are getting tougher

  17. CD23tol

    Personally it’s Cossa

He had to adjust to pro hockey and found his grove in Toledo, I expect the same this year in GR where maybe his first 5-7 starts we might see a dud or too then the rest of the year he just improves month over month and finishes the year as one of the more talked about goalie prospects in the league.

After that probably ASP and Wallinder then it’s a toss up between Mazur, AlJo, Lombardi, Buchelnikov, Soda, Augustine…etc
