Pettersson’s OT Winner Caps Canucks’ Comeback Against Blues

The Vancouver Canucks staged a remarkable comeback in the third period of their game against the St. Louis Blues. Trailing 2-0, Canucks forward J.T. Miller cut the deficit to one with a short-handed goal on a 2-on-1 rush, assisted by Elias Pettersson. Later, with just 29 seconds left in regulation, Canucks player Andrei Kuzmenko tied the game 2-2 by jamming the puck into the net from in front. Finally, in overtime, Elias Pettersson secured the victory for the Canucks by beating Blues goalie Jordan Binnington with a wrist shot to the glove side.

  1. Very disappointed In the win next time hoping for the loss 🤞Bedard

  2. Pettersson!!! Beauty I never take my eyes off the screen when you have the puck

  3. The crowd at the Enterprise Center got progressively quieter after each of the 3 goals. They should use this video as a diagnostic test for incremental hearing loss.

  4. I just gotta say, Petey's pump fake before shooting is so nasty. I just rewatched it like 50x in slowmo, he gets Faulk to stop ever so slightly and it gives him the smallest of windows for that shot. Just wow

  5. Petey's finally arrived. If we have to win, can't be mad at the way they won here.

  6. How sweet is THAT!! What a goal!! Blues have it all wrapped up,10 min to go in the third with a power play and refs on their side for calls…whammo 2-1 shorty and the 2-2 goalie pulled thriller. Then a solid nail in the coffin with a solo effort and laser shot. I have been cheering for the Canucks to lose and get a better chance at Bedard but we all know the NHL big wigs have that all rigged and the Canucks will not ever get him. This is a far better team build for the future game than tanking and trying to get the draft pick.
