  1. A) The stolen puck was debugged.
    B) Carolina vs NY was notable cause they WERE PLAYING FOR FIRST PLACE!
    C) There is about as much new information in here as “water is wet”
    D) NY jettisoned him because they favored Adam Fox. Look at the three weeks before that.
    E) The teams passed on him cause they knew they could get him for cheaper

  2. I think that it was A Stupid Move By Jeff Gorton and is likely One Of The Main Reasons He Got Fired. First, JG Signs Tony DeAngelo, and, then Let's Him Sit It Out. This is Hockey. Guys on The Same Team Get Into Fights At Practice. Georgi Put It Behind Him And So Should JG. Now, DeAngelo is Tearing It Up With The Carolina Hurricanes And My Rangers Aren't Deep St D.

  3. imagine just how awful of a person you have to be, to be a very young very talented top 10 defender that gets cut and then CLEARS waivers…unreal.

  4. I'm a big Ranger fan . DeAngelo , from what I read and hear about him , is a cancer in the lockeroom . HE is a loose cannon. Harmony on the team is more important than stats.

  5. Tony D is a hot head… a owens of hockey… a Lindor of hockey… athletes that just don’t know how to I don’t know… fit in? Yeah put up the points I get it but please just shut the ** up! Rangers organization in to classy maybe to much money flowing to know to, get this D*** out of here now… even with JD leaving we got better. And that was a shock! Now if we can just get Laffy to score 30 goals well that’s a cup on my page…

  6. Ranger fan here, and I just have to say that there is some details missing here that we had already known about from day one, like kreider getting in on the action 👀

  7. DeAngelo was caught out on the ice for a ridiculously long shift (one of the bad things about 3 on 3, the team with the puck can circle for half an hour and you can't go for a change) and was going to be able to clear the puck when Georgiev got back there and misplayed it. That lead to the goal. DeAngelo was gassed and frustrated.

DeAngelo came into camp ready to play his off side (left defense) with Trouba and 1 day in Quinn decided that K'Andre Miller was going to play with Trouba and scrapped Tony D. down to the 3rd pair. He then benched him like a rookie for an undisciplined penalty in the season opener (when the whole team made mistakes) and since DeAngelo is an emotional player, turned him into a liability instead of an asset. He already knew he was on thin ice with Quinn and now he looked really bad on that play due to Georgiev getting in the way.

Had Quinn known how to handle his players instead of his rules for Vets and rules for others (DeAngelo who after signing a great contract obviously thought he was in the 1st camp) they would have had a better year and not had to buy him out. Likely would have gotten a good player or draft pick for him at the deadline last season or this off season. Quinn was inept and the Rangers have proven that by Gallant taking roughly the same team to an easy playoff berth and DeAngelo doing great for a 1st place team.

  8. Actually Cap Friendly is wrong Brad Richards Tony Deangelo Brenden Smith Henric Lunqueist all come off the books after this year we have our Goalie extended this year if Johnny Hockey wants to play in the biggest stage in the world we can make that happen the need for a legitimate 2C would diminish

  9. I like discouñt Tony D here in raleigh. He has more heart and game than Dougie Too Soft. Great attitude. Brindamour is Jack Adams award winner for reasons

  10. You sound like Chris Berman-s son who is suffering from a minor nasal drip. Thank you for always keeping it classy. Your show is a pleasure to watch me and my family gather around the You Tube every Tuesday night to watch episodes. 1 episode was notoriously so good our pet parrot fell over and dropped dead and he was only 4 and they live to 60. I love the Video footage too very realistic genius work !

  11. I couldn’t care less about your grammar lesson. Did I use it correctly?

  12. It’s not “just” that about TDA. He’s got a history. As a canes fan, I was skeptical. Now he owns the point total for a defenseman in franchise history, so I can’t be too mad about it. Especially at the pay he’s getting. He also has no problem being a physical presence.

  13. What is this garbage in the background?? I didn't come here to watch video games 🗑🗑🗑🗑🗑🗑🗑🗑🗑🗑

  14. I liked DeAngelo as a player. Loved him with the Rangers. I am a fellow Jersey Italian. Plus I agree with his politics, not his racist past. Having said that he is a complete douche as a teammate and it is only a matter of time when he gets banished from Carolina or some other team. He can’t control himself.

  15. Let's be honest.. The real reason we all stayed to watch this video is for the ref's pink blade holders…

  16. I liked DeAngelo……he obviously wasn't your prototypical good guy in the locker room but he played hard and with effort. He's a steal for Carolina.

  17. This is old news, Deangelo being a baby as he is instead of a hockey player will try anything stupid like peewee players to agitate.

  18. Regardless of whatever he brought to the ice, I'm glad he's gone. The Rangers don't miss him, and are better of without the drama he caused.

  19. They brought up him using a racial slur and that fact that the Media mentioned and it was years ago and they are already bringing this up now and they had no business bringing it up or posting and the people that made that as a political thing which politics has no business being brought in the NHL or any sports.

  20. So moral of the story is, if someone is being a jerk in work, you get to punch them. Becauase, that seems to be the takeaway.
