Yep we have too many players and many have to go but we go out and get Newhook does management know what they are doing…apparently not.
Wideman didn't lose anything he wasn't played much at all.I would rather have Wideman over Newhook whom we gave a new contract even though the Habs are over cap…just ridiculous.
So i see some waivers incoming and during a season where we are SUPPOSED to still be rebuilding there was no need to take on new contracts and trade away draft picks.
Ever since the very good Matheson signing management has been operating at a sub par level.The latest draft was the ultimate disgrace as I expected more draft picks acquired not less.You want NEED those cheap ELC because they are 3 years of utilizing good young talent with no fear of losing them and then of course another couple years after as well unlike signing players with years under their belt they are much tougher to hang onto especially since this won't be a legit team for at least another 2 years.
Wake me up when St.Louis learns how to coach and management gets back on the right agenda of what this team is supposed to be doing in a rebuild.
