  1. Why wouldn't he in this NHL it's alot different he still has another year to put on muscle he will be okay

  2. Newhook is a waste of a roster space Brings Nothing to the table.Avs Fleeced Kent

  3. He only has to look as far as his coach to see if he is “big enough “ He will have Wifi and Popcorn just like Wayne had Semenko and Marty and for all we know the kid may be a bbj black belt lol

  4. Salut Coach , most men continue growing until they are between 21 and 23 years old , I know I went from 5'8" to 5'103/4" between the age of 18 and 21 , 145lbs to 160lbs ( never went to gym in my life ) , so Lane might very well grow taller and bigger , ( his bone mase is the real factor ) . he has some incredable skills so lets hope he does keep growing bigger and stronger. MSL is the BEST coach for Lane Hutson .

  5. Typically, males are done growing by 16-18, growth plates remaining open can occur past 18-21 and sometimes but rarely longer.
Not the issue like said, weight. Francis Bouillon played defense for Montreal at 5'8" but, he weighed in at 198 lbs. "Big boned" and built like a pit bull. Hutson is 19 now and weighs 158 lbs according the Habs site. That's pretty slight, yet on the ice doesn't look as small as Sean Farrell at 5' 9", 175 lbs. Hutson can pack on muscle, legs, torso, arms but there's still something, maybe bone mass.
Would love to see this kid tear up the NHL with his mobility, agility, puck handling, hockey sense… Can he beef up adequately, maintain agility, handle the role and perform at the NHL level? College hockey is far from NHL.
What I would love to see and what I realistically think are not on the same page unfortunately. Sometimes being wrong is a pleasant surprise though. Wait and see. He's years away.

  6. height is one thing …. strength is another. Having seen Lane in a Tee Shirt and shorts he is simply put— Skinny and small. Compared to Bedard… You can tell Bedard has spent alot of Time in the Weight Room Lifting. His legs and upper body is developed.

You can tell Bedard enjoys the weight room. Lane at 19 is simply not there.

Weight work is painful and hard and from what i see he has not done alot… ( PS I trained Boys Soccer teams fro 14 to 19)

Lane needs to work harder at the weights and add beef.

If he does this he will be fine but at this stage he should be alot stronger at 19

  7. Where ever he played he was a smallest player and did really good so another leavel won't affect him!
