Agreed. I highly doubt he regresses under St Louis’ system and even if he doesn’t even improve much, 2.9 AAV is a bargain for 35-40 points.

Some forget that the sophomore slump is a real thing, Newhook couldn’t established himself because he simply wasn’t ready to be a top 6 center in a cup contender during his sophomore year (Shocker).

Read a 2019 scouting report and apparently he was the fastest skater in the draft year, and 2nd best overall skater after Hughes.
