Serious Q: Was his last contract a big overpay? I know heâs declined a bit since then due to injuries, and maybe his contract shouldnât be that high in the first place (he did have a good season though and it was post-cup so his and the whole teamâs worth was elevated). But still itâs a huge pay cut he took to come back to us at age 29. Given how meh the free agency is this season Iâd think he can still make at least 1.5-2M else where. Iâd like to think that itâs a pay cut to play in one of his favorite club lol but I hope it pays off for him (and us). Hope he stays healthy and stays in good form and give a good competition to our youngster and maybe heâll make his money again next season.
