The fact that I’m finding Kevin Connolly willingly doing a podcast with Sean “always something up my ass” Avery at 11:18pm CST (thanks to Twitter and a few old fashioneds lol) has made me instantly lose all respect for Kevin. He doesn’t deserve to be anywhere remotely near the Isles draft table, no less the stage, moving forward. Scotty…. He’s the man though.
I emailed a clip edit that proposed a branded clip format. I also have a method to produce this whole show with the green screen and superimposed graphics + sound while filming, all at once. It's inexpensive. You wouldn't need to edit the final production, but could. You could also do live episodes and perhaps even invite audience members on. Mics from the front to give more space left to right between you 3. Also, 4K works for Flagrant 2 but I don't think it's worth it for this format. 1080p is much faster for now. A % of people are only listening even on Youtube, others watch on their phone where the screen size is small, and/or the player is low key on a lower quality at 360p to reduce data. Edit: Scotty turns around quick.
Aves listed Kozlov as someone who took Datsyuk under his wing. Kozlov was traded before Datsyuk’s rookie season. Both wore #13. C’mon Aves, you were on that team! Also, he won 2 cups. ‘02 as a rookie, then ‘08.
Anyone know if Avery got his name on the cup in ‘02? I’m sure he got a ring, but didn’t play the required 41 reg season games or 1 game in SC finals to automatically qualify. I know teams often petition the league for players that are close to the requirements to have their name engraved and it’s often granted, but can’t find anything online about Avery.
I know he had 36 reg season games. I’m sure the amount of names in the front office and off ice staff that get engraved play a role. IMO, every player that plays even 1 game should get engraved. (Unless traded of course).
The idea that some marketing assistant or the parking lot attendant gets their name on the cup before an actual player is wrong. Nothing against those people in those roles, but playing 36 games and team winning cup, you deserve to see your name engraved.
Edit: have a column in smaller letters for all players below the threshold if need be for space.
KC if you do the entourage reboot does Avery get a part? And does he have to audition for it? Tell Doug he should write it for it to be done in Vegas at least one season!
That audition tape with Avery corpsing was glorious. More of that kind of content please "They call it a poutine, mayonaise on fries. Almost killed him"
Render time depends on a few things. Graphics card, editing program and CPU (if using Adobe). Da Vinci Resolve will use strictly the GPU, while Adobe will use both the GPU and CPU, there are other things to consider. For instance, the codec of the camera you're shooting. A GH5 H.264 codec is fairly crunchy, a H.265 will increase render times. Pro Res Raw, is easier to work with, but the files are bigger because the crunch is done on the camera end. All and all the total formula I use is an episode should take (with you effects) no longer than 2x the length of the show. I can shoot you a message on Insta if you would like to know more. Love the show btw.

Brocket 99 is the original.
Scott’s not the best roller player in LA.

Roller hockey is fun Sean
Funny thing about that bedard roller hockey team is that they are mostly nhl prospects 😂. Kent Johnson, Andrew Christall, Bedard
