Who Fits With Cole Caufield And Nick Suzuki Long Term For Habs?

The Montreal Canadiens have an opening on their top line with Nick Suzuki and Cole Caufield but the question is, who fills it? Is there a fit in free agency or the draft?

  1. I love Josh Anderson. I have ALWAYS been one of his biggest supporters. I agree with the positives u mentioned, regarding what he brings to the line with Caulfield and Suzuki. However, he is frustratingly inconsistent in terms of production. This has been a huge problem that has plagued him throughout his entire career. Since his hat trick, he hasn't been the same for whatever the reason. I definitely want the Habs to keep Anderson, but maybe it wouldn't be such a bad idea to acquire a winger with a more consistent scoring touch to play on the top line and move Andy to the second. After all he did have some very good chemistry with Dvorak and Drouin earlier on in the season. Awesome video as always! Cheers my friend🤩

  2. It was confirmed Pitlick will be that guy against Tampa tomorrow! I was hoping At the deadline theyde bring in Kravtsov and put him with Suzuki and Caufield! Young skilled line!

  3. André Burakovsky has been on my radar for a long time. It's unlikely he'll become a UFA, I can't imagine Sakic not beeing generous in his offer, 👉 but if he's free on July 1 he's my priority 👈

  4. first line Rem Pitlick Cole Caufield and Suzuki let the speed and talent fly 2nd line Joel Armia and Josh Anderson and find a big solid center to play with them and let the bang a play hard hockey and get rid od some of the bad contracts and bring the kids up on the back end and let them play next year should be about seeing what the farm has and adding trade value to some players on the team keep Price and Allen as this will give the young players a big upside to play in front of them bottom line lets the team play hockey hard fast hockey

  5. Well said ,unfortunately Anderson s too inconsistent to be the guy . Poeling possibly. But for the time being Rem s the best bet for the short term to resolve it . Tortella was right on Anderson unfortunately, he has the talent ,but is far too inconsistent. I think it could be that kid we got from Calgary, or in the draft . But your right ✅ on the case of we don't need any massive signings to do so. We are in a reconstruct of some sort ,and we need our kids to get the ice time for the future. Great 👍 vision my friend . We're on the same page 👍.

  6. Thanks for the video. I am a huge Habs fan and I really like what Gorton and Hughes have done so far. Montreal is rebuilding as a much younger team and I really think that drafting a high impact skilled forward is the way to go. Kent Hughes is already said that they they will be drafting BPA – best player available – as opposed to drafting for need. He said they would pick whoever they feel is the best best player and then figure out how to fit them into the lineup after. I agree with that philosophy. Assuming that Habs are also weak next year, I think they will have a plethora of skilled players to choose from within the organization. We already have Joshua Roy, Riley Kidney, Sean Farrell, Jan Mysak etc as well as whoever they draft this year. It's worth looking at these players in future to see if any of them fit with Suzuki and Caufield. No need to sign free agents unless they want to make an impact next year. I prefer not to go this route. Short term pain for long term gain.
