  1. I actually had a injury like this. Not as this slow mo replay tho.. I couldn't play for 4months so imagine ..

  2. When I did this…. Broken fibula in enough pieces to need a plate. Severe upper ankle injury (ruptured syndismosis). Torn Deltoid ligament. ….6 months.

  3. Owwwwwwwccchhh. Best wishes, unlucky fall, yikes

    (Too bad it wasn't Krieder)

  4. It looked like it also couldve been hus acl from the way his knee twisted. No matter what, its not good.

  5. broke my ankle last year going feet first into the boards playing hockey…6 month recovery following surgery. Never good to see someone hurt like that.

  6. Oh man I got sick to my stomach watching that slow mo .. his ankle or leg is def busted

  7. I had a very similar fall into the boards like that and messed up my ankle for months. But true hockey fashion, you try to get up and skate it off. That is if the injury will let you.

  8. unfortunate, hopefully he recovers well and is stronger. thats to bad. sad to see people in pain like that.

  9. Wtf is wrong with the ranger training staff to let him get up and not go off on a stretcher. Really guys you could have made the injury worse. Hope Zibanejad heals well from this nasty looking injury.

  10. I just broke my left tib and fib and fractured my ankle by hitting the boards similarly last Wednesday. It sucks, would not do again.

  11. Dear Sportsnet and YouTube, please stop recommending me 7+ year old videos. I really don't need to be shown on a daily basis what happened in hockey almost a decade ago. 🤦🏻‍♂️
