Just from the title, I’m gonna think he had some kind of marvel like experiment done on him, and he’ll come back with superpowers.

  2. shearn25

Can’t wait for our freak athlete to mature and terrorize the league

  3. Nice off-season training for our Big boy.

If I remember correctly, KK first off-season training was a disaster.

  4. Cruyelo

Tl;dr: they want to improve his endurance and longetivity, so they trained with him on his movements + his breathing. They saw a nice improvement already.
They also did some work to improve his reflexes/reactivity.

It’s a great article and I love this thinking outside the box to help him improve as an athlete. And like the article mentions, he’s a gifted natural athlete, but the other factors of wanting to improve and being open to new methods is admirable. It makes me excited for his future as he seems determined to be the best player he can be.

Not gonna lie, this all sounds a little pseudoscience-y to me, but at least it can’t really hurt.

I’m curious to see how Slaf will develop. It does look like he has the right attitude and is willing to put in the work, which is a good sign.

    Dolph Lundgren mode activated.

It feels like we are trying to hard with the kid – I worry that just leaving him alone to develop with good coaching and a clear purpose will stunt his development, but what do I know.

  9. All I want to see is contant progression in his game. If he turns out to be a good top 6-top 3 forward, I’ll be happy!

Don’t need science to tell you showing up to camp at 240 pounds is probably not ideal

  11. brennic

He is slowly becoming the Russian Death Machine from Rocky

  12. crissdecaliss

TVA Sports c’est tellement de la marde… simonac

Everyone saying he needs to cut weight, slafs like nah, I need to gain cardio to more effectively use my weight. Monster Inc.

  14. benfoldy

Regardless of the effectiveness of the training itself, the willingness to seek it out and do it is to me a positive indicator of a player looking to improve.

  15. Manofoneway221

He passed Lisa Lisa’s hamon training

  16. spooley6

In a word, adrenochrome. He is now truly elite.

  17. zionistmilly

Really hope this isn’t just a gimmick waste of time. But I am sure he knows best!

  18. shitballsdick

The sky’s the limit for slaf if he’s gonna work this hard at such a young age to improve his game. This is an incredibly mature offseason plan for a 19 year old kid.
