In the United States, you are presumed innocent until proven guilty. This means that until Galchenyuk’s case either results in him pleading guilty or him being convicted in a court of law, they are legally considered to be allegations. This is regardless of the fact that the magnitude of the evidence suggests that these allegations are true.
