Freddy plays left wing on third line like last year and scores 15 goals and gets to fight in his weight class because Morgan geekie and Lucic are there as well
Stick Freddy on the 2nd line, at least give him a look. 17 goals playing less than 12 minutes a night with 0 PP time.
If Bergie back I think we are a better team than last season .
JVR is not going to last on the 2nd line. That’s when trouble starts because there’s not much depth

Freddy needs to be waaay more physical and fight 2x as much, I’m sure he will feel a little tougher and fight in his weight class with Lucic on the team
Trent Frederic shot twice his career shooting% last year. That always corrects itself homers so before all of you keep saying 17 goals in a limited role. He played with really good players last year, on a really good team where nothing was expected of him and again, he shot TWICE his career shooting% last year which SREAMS buyer beware
Frederic doesn't play power play minutes and he's last man up on the PK
Frederic doesn't create offense for others, he's below average defensively and he's not even anything close to a real NHL tough guy
Frederic is also not a center and that's why the Bruins never play him there. Bad on draws, not great defensively, not a great skater. These are the reasons why Frederic is a wing and only plays wing for Boston
If Frederic's award gets any higher than $2.5M the Bruins have to either strongly consider walking away or signing and trading him. Frederic has a 5 goal, -17 coming. Not some 25 goal year where he scores 40-50 points
Even friggin suggesting Frederic should play with Pasta on any line, in any hockey rink, is beyond dumb. He can't skate with Pasta. He has one of the lowest offensive hockey IQs on the team. Frederic can park his fat ass in front of a net & take a few bad penalties. That's it
If JVR is in the Bruins Top 6, um, Houston, we have a problem
McLaughlin- Nothing but an AHL tweener who would be easily replaceable
Coyle is not a Top 6 center, never has been, never will be
Zacha failed miserably at 1c and 2c in NJ. Got him run out of town. Barely played center for Boston last year. Had 95% of his success as a wing in Boston last year. So homers thinking Zacha is a 1c or 2c. You might want to see his first 6 years in NJ that saw the Hockey News put him in their 2019 Top 10 Draft Busts of the last decade, oh, and the fact he got run of NJ
And Homers, Zacha barely played center for Boston. He also didn't score a goal in 7 games in the playoffs last year. Sorry Homers, Zacha is definitely not a 1C and he'd be a far better 2LW than a 2C. Proof?

i want to like him but freddy dosnt pass the eye test man. he has a great shot but man his hands are brutal. hes the kind of player who needed taylor hall and charlie coyle on his line in order to score 17 goals. if you stick him with geekie, lucic, beecher, or any of the players who cant create offense for him he goes back to the guy who gets scratched in the playoffs.
also a career high 30 points with coyle and hall linemates is not worth anything close to 3 mil. theyll get burned if they pay him close to that. also are we sure hes better than boqvist or geekie?
