To be fair, if you look at what Keane's achieved in the sport and then if you look at what Allardyce has achieved in the sport, I'd say one of them has a right to a big ego and one of them is a chump and has only ever managed relegation fodder. Keane's a legend, Allardyce talks a good game but he'll never be remembered as a great player or manager.

Keane doesn't have much of an ego, especially given his career and how good he was. Says he wasn't anything special as a captain or even a player and that the United teams he was part of was just a great bunch of lads who played for eachother.

Roy was right though – Big Sam came in giving it big saying he’s as good a manager as Pep and Jurgen Klopp (proving Sam has an ego) and then Sam quit as soon as Leeds got relegated (proving he wouldn’t manage them in the championship).

Allardyce had his day 20yesrs ago, route one, long ball, hit and and hope football, ugly to watch or enjoy, not for me at all, He dined out on it at Bolton and it was his party piece for a while, but it had it's day many many years ago.
