One of the best boxing champion of the world

I saw a kidney punch, not a slip. Was there a three-knockdown rule?
Harris went 12 rounds with Patterson 2 years before. Liston walked through Harris. This is exhibit “A” of the “Man vs. Boy” boxing match.
They label Sonny as such a bad guy sometimes but you can tell he had a heart of gold but war is war.
Awesome the way Sonny showed compassion and sportsmanship after the bout… Guy was a most understood class act.

He looks like a toothpick compares to sonny
Harris looks like a middleweight (and a little like Martin Short as Ed Grimley) next to Liston.
Looking back and knowing what he went through, I feel bad for Sonny. He had a shady past, there is no denying that, but he wasnt unredeemable. He tried to be as someone good or at least better than what the media presented but noone was interested in it. All they wanted to see was a villian.
Liston is has underrated skills. Everyone thinks he was just a slugger he was a technically sound boxer. He was better than Foreman.
