  1. I have no problem with CBS critiquing Romo – I noticed a definite drop off this season from the his start. He annoyed me during the playoffs but that being said he's still has the potential to be a solid commentator

  2. "Don't tell the viewers what the play is because you can read the D & O!"
    – CBS peeps who can't throw a ball.

  3. Corporate jackasses trying to justify their salaries. They pay him because everyone loves his commentary, then they start trying to change him, as if they had anything to do with why he was good in the first place.

  4. Fox has allowed Joe Buck to be the absolute worst announcer forever. Romo is way better than Buck. Not sure why he’s getting the talk

  5. Imo. Tony's the best commentator in the game right now. CBS needs to double down on what Tony does and build there broadcast around him. Loosing up a lil bit and enjoy the game as what it is, a football game, not a presidential national debate where everyone's walking on eggshells

  6. He’s super annoying. Always tries to predict penalties and the thought process on everything. Less is more with him.
I personally want the voice like a Pat S. Or Madden when I watch a game . I don’t need people describing the plays or the game in depth because I know what’s going on.
    That’s just me though.

  7. Best commentary on football by far. He has so much knowledge and is really good at what he does. Just let the man do his job.

  8. Tony Romo is already one of the best commentators in history. He and Nance are the best current duo.

  9. There have always been former players as color commentators but it seems like Romo has been the only one to comment like a QB reading the defense in real time before the snap. I don’t know why CBS would want to stifle that.

  10. Old white people on social media ? Not a chance, you got cte bro? Oh I guess not you weren't a real football player you were a place kicker .

  11. I didn't even know about this. I didn't notice CBS was silencing crowd noise. I wanna hear crowd noise, and announcers as background. I like Romo and Olsen both. Maybe, because I'm a Packer fan, we usually are on Fox. CBS should definitely stop doing that. And if I were Romo, I'd tell CBS to cram it. He certainly doesn't need the $. I also miss Buck and Aikman. I get that they got ridiculous $ to do MNF, but Fox should've ponied up to keep them imho.

  12. Everytime pat says old whites i think of that Chicago reporter who didn't vote rodgers for mvp

  13. That was truly the worst impersonation of anyone I’ve ever heard

  14. Tony Romo is by far the best commentator football has, because he actually calls the game in front of him, instead of making everything into a dumb f@#$ing storyline. I don't want commentators ignoring the game and discussing stories like a VAST majority of the commentators think is good practice and actually makes commentary something to mute. Commentary has become absolute trash, particularly MNF.
