Jack Johnson | 1000 NHL Games



Drafted 3rd Overall in the 2005 NHL Entry Draft from the University of Michigan, Jack Johnson has had an amazing career playing for the U.S. National Team on several occasions, including the 2010 Vancouver Olympic Games where he earned a silver medal. His NHL journey began with the Los Angeles Kings from 2006 to 2012 before heading to the Columbus Blue Jackets from 2013 to 2018 where he was Assistant Captain for five straight seasons. Johnson then had two short stints in Pittsburgh from 2018 to 2020 and for the Rangers in the 2020-21 season before landing in Colorado on a professional tryout with the Avalanche which he earned his contract and plays currently.

  1. Was pretty skeptical of adding him to the lineup this year, but I think he's added a some grit and experience to this Avs team. Congrats Jack!

  2. Glad he’s been looking good again in Colorado, wish he would’ve worked out in Pittsburgh because it would’ve been a good story but good for him on 1000 games none the less

  3. As, a canes fan, still feel he was a waste of a pick but been Jack Johnson fan, you got a cup buddy.
