  1. I completely agree AngieInfinity. A clean hit is a clean hit. I understand stand up for your star players but the number one rule of hockey is keep your head up. Star players know that, the grinders know that, enforcers know that, everybody knows that. No need for a fight after a clean hit get up and get back in the play.

  2. great hit….players have been fighting after clean hits since before any of us were even born, so get off the "retaliation in this era of hockey" soap-box line….that sounds like something a naive announcer would say because it seems trendy.

  3. It's always kinda painful to watch a guy try and stick up for a teammate then get his ass whooped Paul Gaustad style.

  4. he is the kings color commentator. he said the hit did not look dirty right after the hit. then after the fight he saw the hit in slow motion. he explained to the angry kings fans watching tv that although fraser was down, the hit was not dirty.

i think he knew it was a clean check but didnt want to piss off the angry kings fans right away. haha

  5. The Sharks scored 2 goals in the ensuing power plays. Final score was 4-3. Sharks are in a scoring drought, the Kings retaliating to a 4th-line checker was not wise.

  6. This led to 2 Shark goals in a game that ended 4-3. Completely unwise to retaliate to a 4th-line checker after a clean hit.

  7. 5 for fighting, 2 for instigating, 2 for instigating with a visor, and a 10 misconduct.
19 Pims for 1 fight. This league is getting lame…
