The New Jersey Devils held their Rookie Development Camp this past week.
The week concluded with the Red/White Scrimmage.

He’s soooo small and will always struggle defensively in his own zone guarding against bigger players. Not a guy I’m interested in and Looking at the depth charts there isn’t any room for him unless they trade Doug, Marino or Nemec. I’m thinking he’s going to be a trade piece unless they move him to forward.
Excited for Casey. Spurgeon is crazy small too and he's had a great career. And apparently Casey has dabbled at 'Center' too, so you never know. Thanks for the video!
For every Brian Rafalski there’s a Peter Harold, Will Butcher and Ty Smith. You have to be able to play defense in your own end first if you’re going to stick.. Anyway regardless there just isn’t a fit with the big club unless you plan on moving Doug,Marino or Nemec.
