A good chunk higher than I think most people expected (my guess was 2years @1.8m). This is definitely one of the players that I will be watching pretty closely next year. From what I’ve seen (and heard of his time in Nashville), he has some real great potential past 2.6m

Meh, I was thinking it was gonna be like 2.4, so like a scooch higher than I was hoping, but I’m glad we avoid arbitration and this is done with, and it doesn’t affect our cap situation now or long term.

Like I said, absolute disaster. It’s just a consequence of the trade, so the signing itself is okay, but the trade is now the confirmed first big mistake for JBB

Hopefully the cap goes up enough and he proves himself that we can negotiate an extension next offseason because if we traded all those picks for 2 1/2 years of Jeannot where he was only a bargain for a couple of months, that really sucks.
