  1. Speaking of expansion teams i absolutely loved both the documentary on youtube by one of the founders of the ottawa senators…and utrees how bad it went with plenty of "ottawa apologises" xD

  2. Getting used to a new team and a new system takes time. Give it a season or so and things should get better.

  3. Grubauer’s high danger save percentage is particularly awful. Any kind of breakaway or odd man rush and it ends up in the net

  4. Grubauer is nothing more than a media darling. Nominated for an award voted on by the press after playing on one of the most stacked teams of all time which led the press to hype him up even more. Not his fault the media gets a boner for some guys

  5. 90 percent of the team sucks, the expansion draft was a joke and anyone with half a brain could see they made horrible choices compared to what they could of made

  6. if you watch seattle play, they’re pretty good at preventing shots but allow so many high scoring chances. Admittedly both have played like backups at the very best this season though, and really the fish are just at the bottom of the pacific

  7. Idk what happened to Grubouer he use to be good in Colorado , but ever since in Seattle he’s been terrible, and Driedger is much worse they should acquire Jarry for Grubouer and a pick it might not happen it’s just an idea

  8. Seattle did not take advantage at expansion draft. Leaving players like Tarasenko, Price, Shattenkirk, Skinner, Suban, etc. GM Francis drafted like he was up against salary ceiling when in fact he didn’t even make it to the salary floor. Sure teams called their bluff like MTL but one would of called it and trade them afterwards for different asset afterwards. But leaving them on the table is like folding your pocket rockets or KK.

  9. It's not always the goalies fault. Defense has a factor in it and you should be looking at that too…kneeordano sucks

  10. In my opinion Grubauer overvalued himself and so did the league. Last season he played in front of an elite defense.

  11. I was at the Kraken vs Avs game. NGL: I left when it was 7 – 0. Kraken werent showing any signs of life.

  12. This is what happens when an average starter has a really good year or two. Gru is simply NOT an elite goalie. As a Sens fan, I can tell you both Daccord and Driedger can be VERY good at times. But they are backups/fringe players. Nothing more.
If this was a video game, I’d give Grubauer like an 84, Driedger an 82, and Daccord around a 78-80 overall rating. So yeah, average goal-tending at best.

  13. It's late fall in the Pacific Northwest and with it comes the crippling depression
