As a stars fan…. game 3 made me fucking sick. This was the worst series i have ever seen them play, slow skating, 0 puck control, no dominance on defense.. and Ott wtf is up with Ott. 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Bad hit but lets not pretend this was even the worst hit in the playoffs. The pearl clutching over this is weak.
it's easy to throw shade when a team doesn't play well in a playoff series and I get that. Hell last year Florida fans were calling for Maurice's job and now they are praising him. All that said Jamie Benn has been a good captain for the Stars over the years and his story going from 5th round unknown to NHL All Star and Captain is great. The one thing that surprised me on this one incident though is how Benn never took full accountability for what he did and the impact it made on the team. You have to understand the situation, your team is down 0-2 in the WCF, you're down 1-0 early in the 1st period and I get that in his heart he probably wanted to set a different tone for his team but his execution and timing and frankly the actual way he went about it were all wrong. That's the part he needs to own up to and he didn't, not talking to the press and leaving his teamates to have to answer for him and his actions after the game just added to that. Personally I think he might have lost his "C" after this season.
I love hockey and the stars are my team, but I well know sports are just a tool our overlords use as a distraction while they rape us, just exactly like the media, Hollywood and politicians do. How pathetic are we?

i think the benn crosscheck was very dangerous and could have ended stones career… and it was also uncalled for. it came out of nowhere early in the 1st period. even then, i would not call benn's crosscheck "trying to end stones career"
