  1. I can be fine with Quick getting etched in the cup….i don't fully get it, but I don't have to, I understand lots of other things go on….but I still can't understand how he got to skate with the cup BEFORE Hill…I just genuinely can't imagine a situation where that makes any sense…that upsets me for some reason a lot lol

  2. Do your own all time Boston team video idea? See how it’ll compare to the committee’s.

  3. As a Leafs' fan here's my all time Bruins team:

Goalies: Frank Brimsek and Tiny Thompson

    Defense:
    Bobby Orr – Eddie Shore
    Brad Park – Dit Clapper
    Ray Bourque – Lionel Hitchman

    Forwards:

Johnny Bucyk – Milt Schmidt – Cam Neely
Woody Dumart – Phil Esposito – Rick Middleton
Wayne Cashman – Bill Cowley – Ken Hodge
Brad Marchand – Patrice Bergeron – Johnny Pierson

Plenty of honorable mentions, but the Bruins have such a storied group of players, even the lesser known guys.

  4. Sens fans can't seriously be upset about the trade. Extremely fair trade and both teams got good value. 4 assets for a guy that doesn't wanna play there. That's tidy work right there. Considering how few teams were available to trade with

  5. Honestly kind of puzzled by the reaction to the Isles; wondering if it's more to do with other teams getting better than this team being bad, because that's my concern. Sens, Wings, Sabres all look good this year, and the Caps and Pens are going to want revenge for missing playoffs. But the Isles proved what they could do way back in the bubble. Two years of conference finals isn't nothing, and they've been in the mix since then, with relatively minimal changes. So I can see why Lou keeps saying he believes in the core of this team. Last year was quite a bit of a disappointment by comparison, but they're not a bad team by any means. They just gotta stay healthy and play their game, that they've already proven can be effective.

  6. I think Yzerman should get another Michigan born player on the team. Connor Hellebuyck would look great in red and white!

  7. Haha, Wow … Boston lists are definitely modern-era biased! That said, where's Jean Ratelle on any of these lists? Ugh… And the Kraut Line? Cheevers? We'll figure out something soon… I think Orr will be on my list.

  8. Instant Islander's Therapy: Show them a picture of Mike Milbury.

They'll get over it REAL quick.

  9. That B's jersey is👍 I think their 75th is #1. Majority of all-time great Bruins are Canadian born, 1 being Sea Bass from BC😉 The Islanders are as exciting as a plain white board & that should be a video: teams that excite vs teams that don't

The 92-93 Habs had 16 out of 34 players born in Quebec. Since then I don't think they've had that many & I can't think of 1 Quebec born player who's been a dominant/recognizable player for them, maybe Theodore but that was brief

  10. Management criticism, and whiplash like change of heart begins, and ends with Vegas. Who thought Vegas managed the cap well, and had confidence Jack was the answer? Like literally everyone, I did not.

  11. You can tell Shannon really gets a kick out of saying “Lou Lamoriello”

  12. I still think you should do your top 100 and Centennial Bruins team Shannon especially if you're passionate/excited about it and I'm a Leafs fan.

  13. The islanders can't pay market value. Most free agent just use the isles as leverage in negotiations with the team they want to play for. Horvat probable wouldn't have signed with the isles for less. Have you ever heard of a player demanding to be traded to the Islanders. The shame is once players make it to Long Island they don't want to leave.

  14. I don't know why you like Lamoriello so much. He's killing this franchise with bad contracts and no prospects.

  15. I hope you do a centennial video for Boston, I feel like your picks would be the most honest

  16. cats gotta new team with detroit and cant believe he would let them down this season or next!🤷‍♂️🤔👍

  17. There's still some risk to Detroit with the Debrincat deal. As an Ottawa fan, I was a bit underwhelmed by him this past season. Lots of shot attempts and lots of posts, but not nearly as many goals as promised by his "sniper" reputation. To give him the benefit of the doubt, he was coming into a new team, new coach and playing a different system. However, his best seasons of hockey so far have been ones he played with Patrick Kane in Chicago. I think the pressure will be on him to step it up in Detroit these next four years. Chances are he does, but there's always a risk. Playing next to Larkin will certainly help him.

  18. Lol….Cates. Great. Nothing better for the Flyers than signing a lazy 4th liner that hates to hit and cannot find the net.
Might as well resign Nolan Patrick, JVR and bring Ken Wreggett out of retirement and give him a mega contract too. 😂
