  1. With the Bruins prospect pool the way it is, I wouldn't mind it. Especially with all the Czechs already on the team. He even could be on a all czech line. It's unlikely thou if he doesn't want to play in the ahl. Could be a very rewarding signing for both player and club.

  2. Letting Hanifin walk for nothing instead of trading him makes literally no sense in any context. Why even say that

  3. San Jose native Joey Chestnut. Reigning hot dog champ for like 8 years in a row now I think? I know a couple people that have bumped into him and what I've heard is he's just a super nice & down to earth guy. Even after all his success.

  4. So many big contracts making it real hard for teams to do much of anything lol. Be interesting to see how Seattle spends all the money they have if anyone even wants to play there

  5. Have a great summer boys, thank you for all the content this year! Still want to see a CJ Backyard party in Cobourg this summer!

  6. The Rangers have committed a crime not resigning Tarasenko and instead resigning a bag of rocks while Tarasenko is exactly the kind of player they need AND he wanted to stay with them.

  7. Too many players get bounced in the NHL, it's a really dumb move to just pass up $4-5mil when you're a fringe player right now. Zadina's next contract would be a 1-yr league minimum, two-way contract. I think he's too high on the fact that he's a top-10 pick, so based on that, he thinks he still has that potential to produce….

  8. I hear Debrincat might end up in Calgary if/when arbitration brings his cap down, if he's not traded before then. Dorion is frustrated and may trade him for peanuts to a non-division rival, with a condition that if he's dealt again before the end of season the Flames have to cough up some cash (is that a thing?) to ensure they don't flip him for more assets. Probably not true, but who knows.

  9. iā€™ve always been a big podcast listener when it comes to hockey. iā€™ve never have i listened to this pod but i must say, this is my first episode iā€™ve watched of you two, and ABSOLUTELY my favorite. iā€™m SOOO looking forward to next season with you guys. the perfect duo!! sorry steve/jesse/adam, but this will be my new go to pod.

iā€™m from socal, so not even a leafs or canadian team fan, but man this is such a great podcast. have a wonderful summer boys

  10. I love this show, but can we get Chris a proper mic, turning up my volume makes poor Julian sound like heā€™s yelling at me, lol.

  11. Ottawa canā€™t even afford to pay Debrincat. Not even sure what happens now? PD up to usual tricks. Still have to get contract done for Pinto. How is that not done yet? Heā€™s worth $2.5M per maximum. Shouldnā€™t be a hard negotiation.

  12. Honestly, I would love to see Colorado take a swing on Zadina. They have question marks on their second line and more depth is never a bad thing. One year at 1-2 million. Low risk, high reward. It probably won't happen, but man, I think it would be a great bet.

  13. Buffalo getting Tarasenko on a one or two year deal would be great. It helps with the Quinn injury and it makes trading Olofsson easier.

  14. Hearing Zadina say heā€™ll fill the back of nets of teams who passed was a sign in retrospect. The kid is not humble
I hope he finds a stride though, I was high on him when the Wings drafted him
