Why so urgent to part with those decent draft picks. Management just letting them slip through their fingers. Far too much for a guy who's a career -84! Should have got a D-Man with the 1rst round pick for sure.

Good move by Allvin. Hronek has a canon that Hughes lacks on the PP. The goalies and opposing penalty killers will be more fearful now of Canuck's PP.

Cheer up fellow Canucks fans – it was either this already injured RHD who can't defend or another Mono riddled 12lb Swedish bust noodle at the draft… at least this way we don't have to endure the false hope of believing we drafted the next Forsberg.
Now the Canucks are going to play well enough that they will be 1 point out of the playoffs and get a much lower draft pick. Just watch

An absolutely fantastic trade. A young skilled, proven top four right hand defender. You only wish you could draft that and develop it over what? A five year span without any guarantee it would ever work? All the negative Nancy mofoās including the podcasters, just cry for the sake of cryingā¦ā¦wahhhhh. Iāll call a wahmbulance for you. This is a fantastic move to improve defence today, now get rid of the tower of errors and we may be contenders next year! Next year!

Why does nobody think of Petey being signed next year? This is clearly a move thatās aimed at building a team for now, otherwise trade Petey now cause he wonāt resign if management isnāt trying to make the team better. I like the trade.
Nucks arenāt that far off, donāt forget they had one of (if not the?) best record in NHL after the coaching change last year. Hughes, Hronek, Pettey, Miller, Boeser + Beauv and Kuz is a legit core if they can find their groove. This isnāt some dumpster roster in need of a rebuild.

The real problem comes that last season Vancouver canucks could not find a RHD man if there life depended on it ..Next season our backend should improve
