Troy Stecher nearly didn’t make it to the University of North Dakota. The British Columbia product didn’t know much about the NCAA growing up and was committed to another school.

However, his plans changed and now he’s making an impact each week for the UND men’s hockey team.

UND hosted Omaha last week at the Ralph Engelstad Arena. It was a back-and-forth series with big plays, as the Fighting Hawks look ahead to hosting Colorado College.
