‘Nathan Lyon a BIG LOSS! It did NOT look good!’ | Steve Smith | Ashes second Test day two

Reaction from Australia batsman Steve Smith as the second Test of the 2023 Ashes series remained delicately-poised, after England were positioned 138 runs behind Australia with six wickets remaining in their first innings, following day two’s play at Lord’s Cricket Ground in London on Thursday.

  1. Nathan Lyon, if he is indeed seriously injured, will be a huge loss. The test is in the balance, and if England can get to 500, without any silly declarations, then they could have a chance. Unfortunately, my money is on a draw, with England chasing 350 on the final day, and just coming up short.

  2. Congratulations to England, they did a great job with the bat on a sunny afternoon and a lifeless pitch. 🤣

  3. ASHES ARE NOT LIKE ASHES ANYMORE…WE WANT MORE AGRESSION MAN!! THOSE QUICKS LIKE BRETT LEE GLENN MCGRATH WITH A BIT OF A CHIT CHAT…NO HATE BUT YEAH MORE AGRESSION WITH LITTLE BIT OF SLEDGING WILL SPICE THE THINGS UP 🔥🔥LIKE WE THE INDIANS DID IN AUSTRALIA 🌚

  4. Ozzies are a very good side so are the Poms , but Lyon can be the difference between a win or a loss, but love the ashes series growing up, now it's england and India that we have the best games against,, may the best Ozzie team win,, 😏😎

  5. What we’re they talking about at the start? That’s the annoying thing about press conferences you can’t hear what the questions are half the time

  6. Does English spoken by British and Aussie is very different? I feel sometimes Smith is listening very very carefully to understand the question. Offcourse one question he didn't understand is surely posed by Indian

  7. TO ALL THE POMMIE WANKERS AND INDIAN UBER DRIVERS – if smudge cheated on that catch why didnt the media ask him a question about it? end of story there is nothing to talk about go fcuk off you cvnts and losers

  8. We saw ya cry on the telly…….from an Aussie that’s one of the best ones I’ve heard them come up with hahaha

  9. As an Englishman and cricket lover, I have forgiven Steve Smith for the ball tampering, and have to say what a player this guy is..we will be sad when he retires because a talent like him is only good for the game.

  10. The series is England's to lose if Lyon is ruled out. There isn't a single other player on either team whose absence would be so pivotal.

  11. Losing lyon won't make a difference not winning the ashes they got back up in Todd Murphy or Adam zampa and they will win the test at Lords this weekend and the series

  12. Lyon stays on to sing the team song and to guide Murphy into the seat of best next thing, stay with the squad dude, fella your our team backbone, believe it or not,

  13. Some times during the night, I had to listen to the dribble of KP, he nearly matches Langer and Hayden for delusional reports , maybe flash backs considerably to glory days by a factor of x2 better, in their day, I’d rather listen to Clive Lloyd
