karlsson is seriously the most overrated D the game has ever seen. this guy so soft i bet it hurts him just to put his pads on. watching him get stripped left and right, pushed off the puck by children is just ridiculous…cant believe the nhl gave this guy norris trophies…you know those are supposed to be for players who play defence right? lol this guy just had ottawa set up an offense around him so he could pad his stats (a la russel westbrook style) and now the sharks, the team that needed him the least in the nhl and is not willing to make him the center of the team have him and are showing everyone that a 6 million dollar winger can fool everyone into thinking he is worth 11 million by just lining up on the blue line instead of the red one LOL
You think it's great now, just wait until Taylor Hall starts to catch fire!!! I just hope the Devils just win at least half of the games this year and make the playoffs again!!!! Because in past years the Devils have started strong, but tend to fizzel out mid season. I hope the NJ Devils do well mid season this year. Last season had a wild end, with several do or die must win stretches of road games. They won those stretches of road games and barely made the playoffs!!!!
Karlsson is a weak defender. He's doesn't have the physicality to win a lot of net front battles. He's a one dimensional offensive player. Sens did good trading him instead of paying him 12 mill a season for the next 8 years. Some team is gonna get suckered

Here's an NHL fact you may not know, the NJ Devils have currently the second largest cap room of any team in the entire NHL($15,199,311)!!! I was very sad to see that the NJ Devils did not keep John Moore(signed a five-year, $13.75 million contract with the Boston Bruins), he was truly amazing in the 5 minute overtime and in my opinion one of the best players on the Devils!!! It's going to be interesting to see what the NJ Devils do with this large amount of cap room, they really need to sign a serious goal scorer to take the team to the next level. They now have the cap room to do just that, I wonder who the Devils will go after!!!!
It feels good to hear the voices of Steve Cangialosi and Ken Daneyko again. Doc Emrick and Chico Resch were good, but they would always be talking about how it's the birthday of one of the family members of a Devils TV crew member while the Devils would get an odd man rush and score a goal. It got annoying how much Doc and Chico would talk amongst themselves when the game was in action. Steve Cangialosi and Ken Daneyko in my opinion do a much better job and bring a lot more energy and excitement to the TV broadcast!!!
Kinkaid and Palms are going to have a good season still early but look great love the pickup of JS Dea and man the Devils keep you on the edge of your seat all game the give me so many heart attacks
