  1. As a Pens fan, I hate to see Ovechkin lose. He and his team had every reason to win this year. Ovechkin deserves that Stanley Cup.

  2. people are saying the caps are done… I can't say for sure, but it's gonna be really freaking hard to win three straight vs. the pens. lets say Washington wins game 5 while scoring 4+ goals, the pens have Fleury on the bench to play game 6 if he needs to. and other than that, the penguins have the best offence (maybe with the exception of Dallas), and i don't see Washington stopping that. the caps need to fight fire with fire if they want to win this series

  3. Frankly this Penguins team is getting luckier.
Sure they humiliated the Rangers in 5, I expected that to happen. But the Capitals should be leading this series 3-1 if anything. The Penguins got a lucky goal to tie it at 1, and then a lucky turnover by Weber and Hornqvist put it through the legs of a jumping Holtby. However, Pittsburgh's depth has been better than Washington.
Oh I forgot, Olli Maata and Kris Latang were out. The Capitals have failed to take advantage of countless opportunities. Pittsburgh is a really good team, but I would like to see how they handle the Bolts if the make it past the Caps.

  4. Пингвины ведут в серии 3-1. На Овечкина страшно смотреть после проигрыша!

  5. I always looked at this series as the real ECF. If stamkos was healthy then it would be a different story. Pens beat TB in 5 maybe 6 but i say 5. Probably play the blues or dallas in finals

  6. I really think the Capitals were hurt by doing so well in the regular season. They weren't challenged a lot and didn't have to dig deep to find ways to win. The Playoffs are all about momentum and the Pens clearly had more than enough.
